FCM’s Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative: Tools and Funding for a Successful Energy Retrofit
The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) is the national voice of municipal government in Canada with more than 2,000 member municipalities of all sizes, from regions across the country. FCM’s Sustainable Affordable Housing (SAH) initiative is delivered through the Green Municipal Fund (GMF) and funded by the Government of Canada.
In this session, Chad Meda, Outreach Advisor and Emilie Hayes, Capacity Development Advisor, both with Green Municipal Fund, share how FCM’s Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative can support your deep energy retrofit or energy efficient new build with capacity development and direct funding. This session is geared towards anyone in the affordable housing sector—including municipalities, not-for-profits, and co-ops—who is looking for resources and tools to help advance their energy efficiency projects.
